• The new edition, to be held between November 9 and 11, will be on-site and virtual so that everyone can participate from anywhere in the world if there are still travel restrictions at the international level. • During the days of the event, the International Congress will be held in parallel, where strategic issues for the sector will be discussed. Trans Port, the most important maritime-port exhibition of the sector in Chile, rescheduled its international congress and exhibition would performed between August 31 and September 2 for November 9 to 11, 2021 at CasaPiedra. The organization pointed out that the measure was taken so that the exhibition could be held in the best possible conditions, safeguarding the health and wellbeing of our collaborators, exhibitors, visitors and strategic partners. And they emphasized that it is better to postpone to November in order to wait for the situation as a result of Covid 19 to be more stable and hope that the vaccination program is as far as possible both in Chile and the world. Trans Port’s Manager, Katherine Becker, took the opportunity to announce that the exhibition that brings together the maritime-port industry will have for the first time a hybrid format, that is, face-to-face and virtual. This will make it possible for everyone to participate in the exhibition from any device and in any place, if there were still travel restrictions at the international level by that date”. And she explained that in this “new edition there will be space for networking, both on-site and through our virtual platform Trans Port Connect, which will allow exhibitors and visitors to interact in both formats. In addition, we will have greater national and international coverage, there will be access to the exhibition at any place and time, we will have customizable booths in the on-site version through QR code and permanent updating in the virtual booth”. Katherine Becker also noted that “those attending the maritime port meeting will also be able to schedule previous meetings to be held on the virtual platform or at the fair”. And she indicated that “the International Congress will be held live at the exhibition, by streaming and on demand post-event through Transport Connect, which will also feature an open Marketplace where companies can display products and services with quick and advanced search filters for easy navigation, which can also be appreciated during their visit to the venue”. Also from the organization emphasized that the purpose of the exhibition will be to reconnect the maritime-port community, covering the various issues that today concern the industry from a Latin American perspective. At Trans Port is convening global players to share knowledge, trends, technologies and the possibility of bringing markets closer and generating new business opportunities. Finally, the development of the exhibition also seeks to contribute to the reactivation of the economy and the development of the country through the generation of business opportunities and the creation of direct and indirect jobs that are produced around the fair.
